My daughters "new" bed. She had a full size bed (made from her 4 in 1 crib) prior to this, but it took up too much room and she didn't really have anyplace to play. My husbands mom had this in her basement with a brand new mattress on it so she gave it to us! I want to make it into a trundle bed eventually for when my parents come visit from Texas.
It was an ugly 70/80's brown, so I went to Menards and bought the same limegreen spray paint as what I painted the chandelier (see post). I think it turned out super cute! And my daughter loves it, which is all that counts. The great part is when we outgrow the green color spray paint is cheap enough to do another color :) I think it only took 3 cans.
